Overview
Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the firm's business objectives.
Manage and maintain the firm's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and software application.
Ensure the security and integrity of the firm's data and information systems, including compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
Oversee procurement, installations and maintenance of hardware and software solutions, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to identify technological needs and opportunities for innovation.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending investments and adoption strategies to enhance the firm's competitiveness.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with best practices.
Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring quality of service and values for the firm.
Provide regular reports and updates to executive team on IT performance, projects, and initiatives.
Perform any other tasks or functions deemed necessary to the daily operations of the employer.
Qualification
Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing IT operations and infrastructure.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in IT system, network, security, and software applications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
Demonstrates ability to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business goals and drive innovation.
Solid understanding of legal industry standards, regulations, and compliance regulations.
Proficient in programing languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, DB, Python, RESTful APIs, Suite Flow, Suite Builder, and Suite Bundler.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with version control systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Effective communication skills.
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advance degree or certifications preferred.
